Baller of the Week nominations. Last updated October 2026.
AU Ballerz runs Baller of the Week as a free community nomination. Players are never charged to be featured. This page explains what we collect through the nomination form and what we do with it.
What we collect
- About the player: name, club, age group, position, shirt number, opponent and what they did that weekend.
- About you: your email and your connection to the player and, if you choose to give them, your Instagram handle and a clip or photo link.
- Technical details our website host records with each submission, such as time, IP address and browser type.
How we use it
- To shortlist and choose each week's Baller of the Week and Team of the Week.
- To contact you if the player you nominated wins.
- To send you the weekly winners, only if you ticked that box. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Before anything is posted
A nomination does not put a player on our channels. We check with the player's parent, guardian or club before posting a player's name or image, and we don't post without that agreement.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your details.
- We don't publish nomination counts, rankings or who nominated whom.
- We don't use your email for anything other than the two purposes above.
Where it's kept
Nominations are stored with our website host, Netlify, which may hold data on servers outside Australia. Access is limited to the AU Ballerz team. We keep nominations only for as long as we need them.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete a nomination you made, or one made about your child, at any time. Email arnold.castillo@auballerz.com and we'll action it.
